Large icon depicting the Virgin and Child, written on a one-piece board reinforced by two crosspieces, covered with embossed and chased silver riza. 17th or 18th century. 38.5 x 30 cm. Preserved in its giltwood frame with a rich pediment carved with palmettes. Handwritten inscription on the reverse of the family name, in Greek letters, "Maurianos". 62 x 36.5 cm.
