Description
BOEST or ‘box’ – a storage box made from a single piece of wood, carved and featuring a sliding pull-out drawer. A naive and very free-form wolf’s-tooth pattern adorns five of the box’s sides. BRITTANY, 19th century. Length: 16.5 cm. Height: 10 cm. (Beautiful patina, holes made by wood-boring insects).
