Description
Gérald Watelet, 62 Rue François 1er Paris Circa 2008, a historiscist couture dress by the famous Belgian designer. Peplum-style evening gown with long sleeves, plunging boat neckline and back zip. It comprises a coat in ruby velvet panne lined with red satin, opening onto a double-layered underdress in iridescent green and red silk chiffon. The dress is highlighted by a large trapezoid cabochon and a tassel of fuchsia passementerie, embroidered with glass beads. The bodice with inner waistband is lined with red taffeta and bears the Gérald Watelet Paris label. Equivalent size 36-38 France. Very good condition. A similar model of this dress in black and white was worn by Madame Anémone Giscard d'Estaing at the 2007 children's foundation night in Versailles.Expert : Serge LIAGRE
