Eric Dubrulle Haute couture in Paris from the Spring Summer 1996 collection (attributed to). A catwalk dress entitled "Prix de Diane", in silk organza with houndstooth pattern, worn in 1996 for the Prix de Diane. Crossed front wrap, long raglan sleeves with rolled-up cuffs, large draped shawl collar that unfolds into two skittles from the waist. Ruffled skirt with large bottom and fifteen taupe, parma and white tulle petticoats. The bodice is lined in white silk pongee and fastened on the inside with sheathed press studs. No label but photocopy of the sketch of this dress. Equivalent to size 36 France. Very good condition. Eric Dubrulle (1963-1996) opened his Paris fashion house at 5 Avenue Matignon in 1995 and only did two shows, in July 1995 and January 1996, following his sudden death in a car accident on 16 March 1996. He had previously worked as a tailor at Jean-Louis Scherrer before joining Hanae Mori after a trip to Italy to learn about ready-to-wear techniques. Eric Dubrulle was renowned for the quality of his couture designs and finishes. "A refined collection for Parisian elegance" was the headline in L'Officiel de la couture et de la mode de Paris (issue 802-805) in January 1996.expert: Serge LIAGRE
