ROUEN, Levavasseur Manufactory
A tripod chocolate pot with a side handle, featuring a polychrome decoration of a courting couple on a wooded hillock. Lid with
a bird motif and a fruit-shaped handle. Pink combing on the spout, handle and feet.
(chipping on the upper rim and spout, wear to the decoration, a chip on the lid’s heel)
Pink combing on the rims. The form is known from Rouen but is unpublished in the ‘petit feu’ style.
