Plate with a curved rim, featuring a polychrome decoration known as ‘au Milan’; in the centre, a palm tree surrounded by Indian flowers and a bird highlighted in gold. Broad, flowering branches accented with gold on the rim and the foot. A purple border around the edges. Marked ‘VP’ in black on the reverse.
