A brown-lacquered woven metal set comprising a tray, three cups (paintbrush pots?) and two ‘bean-shaped’ bowls.
The bases of the bowls and the tray feature cloisonné decoration depicting landscapes, flowers and foliage. The rims and pots are designed to imitate woven wicker.
This piece is reminiscent of works produced during the MEIJI era (1868–1912).
