RENAISSANCE-STYLE CABINET AND BASE – 19th century, in weathered oak, moulded and carved with a decoration of friezes featuring rows of hearts, dentils, rosettes and oves; the central panel opens to reveal a shelf, whilst the two side panels are decorated with women dressed in ancient style within niches surmounted by eagles, set within a frame of columns with Corinthian capitals
The base consists of column-like legs with Corinthian capitals; the base panel is decorated with a musical cupid in a cartouche framed by sphinxes
It features three drawers in the upper section and one drawer in the lower section
