Louis XVI-style barometer and thermometer in a violin-shaped design - Mid-20th century, in carved wood, gilded and cream-lacquered, decorated with laurel leaves and acanthus; the lacquered dials feature a ribboned laurel wreath, whilst the barometer dial bears an apocryphal ‘C’ mark.
