Colt Lightning CLMR – CLMR issue model Manufactured 1891 – Serial number 51XXX – Calibre .44-40 This firearm forms part of a small military contract for South America and features a bayonet mount on the right-hand side. Markings are perfectly visible. In good condition with signs of wear. Good, very smooth action. Carefully restored to its original condition; the parts have developed a lovely patina and the wood has a beautiful light varnish colour. The markings on the metal parts are still present. Very good barrel with perfect rifling, length 27’’, mirror finish 8/10 The firearm comes with its Saint-Étienne certificate classifying it as Category D.
