Signed “Made by an old man, formerly Hokusai”, Published by Kobayashi Shinbe, in Edo; engraver, Sugita Kinsuke, published in the 5th year of Tenpō (1834). A work inspired by the Zhongjing, one of the five Confucian canonical texts of China.
On the spine, a date in ink: the 1st year of the Genji era (1864).
