Red cloth-bound hardback with gilt title in Japanese and English, blue cloth slipcase, numerous colour and black-and-white photographs, captioned in Japanese and English, texts in Japanese at the end; with a preface in Japanese by William S. Lieberman, art historian and curator at MoMA in New York, and an introductory note in English on Yokohama prints produced between 1860 and 1883.
