‘Fontanophone’, an exceptional phonograph,
with dual playback, two tonearms, two diaphragms, and two asymmetrical floral-shaped horn-shaped bell-tubes, repainted in shades of yellow and green. ‘Fontanophone’ diaphragms, one of which has its sapphire holder reversed so as to follow the rotational movement in the correct direction. Thorens twin-barrel motor. Decorative bronze motifs on the front panel. Beautiful ‘Le Fontanophone’ label depicting the same phonograph.
A photographic reproduction is included, showing a projector fitted with a similar system, with a sculpted base. In working order. Fine condition, rare.
