2016 MUMU-CUCURRUCUCU by Mika Swatch New Gent Special (SUOZ210) Rare box set; hand-signed by the artist, with a bonus ‘Mumu by Swatch’ photo also signed by Mika. The rare Swatch New Gent Artist Special MUMU-CUCURRUCUCU was designed by Mika. Mika is a Lebanese-British singer, songwriter and producer. This colourful watch is the third to be created in collaboration with his sister Yasmine and Swatch, continuing the story that has already begun. Inspired by symbols from the indigenous art of Mexico, Spain, Portugal and the Middle East, this unique design was born. The gold dial features delicate engravings reminiscent of a Mayan calendar. The white silicone strap, printed on both sides, is also adorned with geometric symbols and creatures (frog kings, birds, butterflies, etc.). The watch is housed in a cardboard box designed to look like a treasure chest, also printed with these symbols. To open the chest, Mumu, the masked creature, needs the golden key. The icing on the cake: the box has been signed by the artist herself.
