SPECTACULAR SET OF LIVING ROOM WOODWORK A substantial set of panelling forming the complete décor of a drawing room, crafted from wood and moulded stucco, carved and lacquered, extending along four walls and reaching a height of approximately 4.25 metres and a total length of approximately 28.70 linear metres. The décor features an architecturally structured arrangement punctuated by moulded panels, pilasters, friezes, cornices and carved frames. The upper sections are adorned with relief medallions set within rectangular recesses and accompanied by foliage motifs. The ensemble is organised around a central double-leaf door, flanked by two large trumeaux with glass panels surmounted by carved medallions and two tall windows. The various elements are unified by the continuity of the mouldings, panels and the upper cornice. The side featuring the fireplace presents a monumental composition centred on the fireplace and its glazed trumeau, surmounted by a carved medallion. Two openings fitted as bookcase doors complete this elevation. The two side elevations are each punctuated by three tall windows, separated by large panelled sections and flanked by side panelling. The whole forms a remarkable architectural ensemble on a grand scale, retaining the coherence of its original layout.
