Provenance: the collection of Laurent Danchin (1946–2017), writer, essayist and art critic, passed down through the family. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris (Prix de Rome), a Fulbright scholarship took Catherine de Luze to the United States for seven years; as a painter and printmaker, she explored the technique of monotype by creating abstract labyrinths
