Albumin and silver gelatine prints mounted on card with
the studios’ addresses printed on the reverse.
-14 prints by GONDRAN, including a portrait of Madame
d’Estienne and her children, portraits and views of Aix, a group
of soldiers from 1870, and a terracotta pig by the sculptor
Hippolyte FERRAT (1822–1882) for the New-
Powels (New Pourcelles) estate in Gardanne, belonging to
the former magistrate turned pig farmer, Toussaint-
Joseph Borély…
- 7 portraits from the M.H. HERAUD studio (55 Passage Agard)
with their original cardboard box.
Also included are two rare stereo views on cardboard by GONDRAN
showing the construction work upstream and downstream of the intake for the Canal du
Verdon (1865–1869). Albumin prints mounted on
original cardboard, 9 x 17.5 cm.
