American photographer, filmmaker and lecturer, renowned for his expeditions
to Africa and South America between 1947 and 1953.Following major
photographic journeys to North Africa in 1947 and West
Africa in 1949, Acebes undertook several expeditions on the Orinoco
River in Venezuela as well as in other parts of South America
between 1950 and 1953.
