Large Brussels tapestry depicting several scenes from the History of Scipio describing his triumph and the city of Cartagena in the background, wide border decorated with foliage scrolls, fruit, masks and caryatids interrupted by medallions on the subject of the Metamorphoses of Ovid showing in particular Venus and Adonis, the fall of Icarus, Andromeda and the Abduction of Europa; incomplete mark on the reverse, probably that of Martin Reymbouts whose workshop was active in late 16th and early 17th century Brussels.
