A reading table inlaid with quartefeuilles or amaranth filigree; rectangular in shape, the top features a folding reading flap upholstered in red morocco leather with a gold-coloured pattern of small ironwork, flanked by two panels that open to reveal storage compartments, the one on the right containing a removable writing surface. It opens at the front via a wide drawer and rests on curved legs.
