Oak games table. The top opens via a drawer and rests on four ‘Gaine’-style legs joined by a cross-shaped brace. The folding, pivoting top reveals an interior fitted with a playing mat; the tops of the flaps are decorated with a stylised marquetry motif. The drawer pull is made of brass and ceramic. Shown with signs of wear; significant damage and losses to the marquetry motifs; the game mat is not original. Table when open: H. 75 cm L. 77 cm W. 77 cm
