Description
MODERN WORK IN THE STYLE OF ÉMILE-JACQUES RUHLMANN (1879–1933) Inspired by the so-called ‘Spider’ model Games table in exotic wood veneer. ‘Gaine’-style legs joined by a tall crossbar supporting a circular top. The top swivels and folds away into a four-panel cabinet, revealing a chessboard in marquetry of light-coloured and exotic woods. The top (when closed) features a decorative pattern of dots forming a circle, executed in light-coloured wood marquetry; the edge is decorated with denticles, also in light-coloured wood marquetry.
