Description
GRANGER PARIS & DAUM NANCY ART GLASS Stylised fluting and ripples A substantial four-light chandelier. The nickel-plated bronze frame, the spout cover, the suspension chains and the central block feature embossed title motifs; the light arms are designed in the style of torches. The trumpet-shaped tulip shades are made of frosted glass. Circa 1925–1930. One tulip shade has a hairline crack near the attachment (h. 7 cm), another has a small chip on the rim. Each tulip is signed ‘DAUM Nancy France’ with the Cross of Lorraine. H. 76 cm D. 70 cm Bibliography: Art et Industrie December 1929.
