WORK FROM THE 1930s A set of four armchairs in solid Macassar ebony. The front legs are cylindrical, the rear legs (which continue as backrest posts) are square in cross-section, and the armrests taper towards the ends. The seats and backrests, which are tufted and curved, have been reupholstered in brown leather with piped trim.
