CHARLES DUDOUYT (1885–1946) ‘Bridge’-style office armchair in very lightly bleached oak. Sabre-style front legs, carved armrests, and projecting backrest posts. The seat and backrest are upholstered in their original fabric. 1930s–1940s. Upholstery is very worn and torn. H. 84 cm W. 58 cm D. 50 cm Provenance: This chair comes from a major collection belonging to the artist, the bulk of which was featured in the Ader auction ‘20th-Century Decorative Arts and Sculpture’ on 29 May 2026.
