GERARD MILLE (20th century) (ATTRIBUTED TO) DECORATOR ACTIVE FROM THE 1930s TO THE 1970s A renowned design, originally created around [1938] Large dining table. The steel base consists of X-shaped arches facing each other, with the arches having a ‘Corne’ cross-section; the cabochon-shaped clasps are made of bronze and riveted. The top is in grey Bardiglio nuvolato marble. Minor knocks to the corners of the top. H. 71 cm L. 187 cm W. 86.5 cm Provenance: X. Collection, London. Acquired from the Galerie Yves Gastou on 17 July 2003. A copy of the gallery’s invoice may be provided to the purchaser.
