Jug with a detached handle. A white-glazed ceramic piece with a matt, slightly grainy surface; the title decoration rendered as a black drawing, with the lines continuing onto the handle. The interior is glazed black. Circa 1952. Signed JOUVE and bearing the monogram A. P. (interlaced letters) for Apollo, known as the ‘Alpha’ mark, on the reverse. H. 13 cm
