Noah’s Ark, a work most likely created between 1948 and 1950
A very rare lamp base featuring the title figure. A white-glazed ceramic piece with a broad network of crackle marks. One horn and one ear of the cow, and one ear of the llama, are broken and have been reattached. Signed with the rare ‘CAPRON Vallauris’ stamp on the vase and with a sun motif beneath the base. H. 24 cm W. 32 cm
