COLETTE GUEDEN (1905–2000) FOR PRIMAVERA (ATELIER D’ART DU PRINTEMPS) Model exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs, Paris, 1954 A rare pair of large, imposing armchairs; the high, curved backs feature a slatted design. Frame in black-lacquered tubular metal. Seats upholstered in the original black fabric. 1950s. Showing signs of use, with scattered wear and chips to the black lacquer, which is heavily worn and missing on the armrests and in the centre of the slatted backrest.
