A unique piece, acquired by Mr Robert Clark (Aztec Instruments), Norwalk, Connecticut, USA, and invoiced on 28 February 1970
Walnut desk with two cabinets. Each cabinet opens via three drawers, two of which have a notch, and rests on a cross-shaped base that projects at the rear. The rectangular top features undulating edges at the front and rear. Produced by the George Nakashima Woodworkers Studio, New Hope, USA. Marked ‘Aztec’ in red grease pencil beneath the top. H. 73 cm W. 183 cm D. 96 cm
