ANDRE MONPOIX (1925–1976) DESIGNER & TFM (THEVENIN, FERT AND MAYET) PUBLISHER PROJECT BY THE A.R.C. (RESEARCH AND CREATION WORKSHOP) OF THE MOBILIER NATIONAL
T.R. programme, designed in [1971] and launched in [1972] for the Ministry of Public Health and the fitting-out of the French Presidency’s SNCF carriage, inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II
High round table. The circular top is veneered with its original white melamine; the edge has been (re)lacquered in black. The four ‘Gouttière’-style legs are made of white-lacquered aluminium. Early 1970s edition. The edge has been repainted black; there are small chips in the melamine finish around the edge of the top. H. 73.5 cm D. 100 cm
