COLLECTION OF BYZANTINE GOLD CROSS PENDANTS WITH CENTRAL CABOCHONS. Ca. AD 600. A collection of three gold cross pendants, each formed as a cross with four ribbed arms terminating in rolled tips. The centre is set with a cabochon within a beaded collar. Size: 15-16mm x 15-16mm; Weight: 1.5g Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Belgium; formerly in a German private collection before 2000.
