A 'Versailles' beehive hanging lantern in gilt bronze and cut glass, France, 20th century. Bronze and cut glass. A decorative beehive-shaped hanging lantern featuring a geometrically faceted glass shade, surmounted by an openwork bronze crown adorned with French lily motifs or fleurs-de-lys. A pinecone surrounded by acanthus leaves forms the lower finial. Fitted with two light points. France, 20th century.
