Sèvres, Chateau des Tuileries, six 'Rose Pompadour' plates with hand-painted decorations and Louis Philippe monogram, 19th century. Polychrome porcelain. Six plates, 'Rose Pompadour', decorated with hand-painted putti and Louis Philippe monogram, gilded finish (D: 24 cm). Marked 'Chateau des Tuilleries' and 'Sèvres - Louis Philippe - 1846' and d ated 1846 (SV-PP-46)on the back. France, circa 1846. Added: four plates with a pink ground, floral cartouches, and the portraits of Duchesse de Longueville, Madame Dubary, Madame de Graffigny, and Princesse de Lamballe. Marked with a Sèvres mark and Louis Philippe monogram, probably Samson, Paris (D: 23,5 cm). Provenance: Christie's. (24 x 0 x 0 cm) Condition Report: Restorations to the added plates.
