H 170 × W 65 × D 35 cm Note: Twelve of these sculptures, each one unique, were exhibited as part of the ‘L’Ultima Cera’ exhibition during the Milan Furniture Fair and installed in the church of San Bernardino alle Monache, a 15th-century building. The process begins with an imposing extruder suspended from the ceiling, designed to work with wax. Thanks to an electric motor exerting a pressure of over 4,000 pounds on the material, the wax is forced through various moulds and dies before falling into a basin of cold water, where the artist manually shapes the wax to give it its final form.
