SET OF TWO SILVER OBJECTS: A POCKET SET AND AN ART NOUVEAU SEAL A set of two silver curios and pocket items comprising: i) a pocket kit crafted from an authentic 5-franc silver Charles X coin dated 1828 (Mint A – Paris). The coin has been sawn through its thickness to accommodate a pocket knife mechanism. Includes three retractable miniature steel components: a knife blade, a nail file and functional scissors with their spring. Fitted with its original suspension chain for a pocket watch or key ring. Diameter 4 cm, Length 13 cm (chain) Gross weight: 36.17 g. ii) Art Nouveau office seal/wax stamp dating from circa 1900. Official French ‘Crab’ hallmark and diamond-shaped silversmith’s mark. Silver-clad handle with a relief decoration of a floral torch tied with a draped ribbon, with a beaded and fluted base.
