René MAGRITTE (1898–1957), after Les Enfants trouvés Paris, A. C. Mazo & Cie, 1968. Oblong in-plano (44.5 x 60.5 cm), in folios, in a burgundy canvas slipcase, the covers entirely covered with a composition by Magritte printed on paper. First edition, illustrated with 12 large lithographs on BFK Rives vellum (60 x 45 cm), the first four of which were specially created by Magritte for this volume; all printed and proofed by Fernand Mourlot and presented in-plano. Printed in a run of 350 copies plus a few honourary copies; our copy is no. 188
