Taukana Regui is a Brazilian artist born in Aldeia Piyulaga in the Xingu region. She is a member of the Waujá community, renowned for its ceramics. She has taken part in the exhibition ‘Ka’a Body: Cosmovision of the Rainforest’ in London (Paradise Row) and Paris (Radicants), and at the MoCNA South Gallery in Santa Fe (USA). She is currently taking part in the ‘Womb of the Earth: Cosmovision of the Rainforest’ exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts in Santa Fe (USA).
