Pierre Guariche (1926–1995). ‘G1’ model mobile wall lamp with counterweight, in blue lacquered metal (original?), featuring a swivelling arm, brass ball joint and double openwork lampshade. Minor imperfections, signs of oxidation; switch needs reattaching. 112 x 158 cm. Provenance: Part of the furnishings of a villa in Caluire-et-Cuire built in the late 1950s, where it has remained ever since.
