Initials painted in pink or blue with white highlights, on burnished gold backgrounds (crackling of the gold in places) and either blue or pink, decorated with acanthus leaves in blue, red and green with floral motifs. They betray the influence of Florentine artists such as Zanobbi Strozzi and Filippo di Matteo Torelli, who used this type of ornament in their initials.
