Reprint of the 1718 edition, with the same illustrations consisting of a frontispiece engraved by Audran after Coypel, 28 plates engraved by the same artist after the paintings made by the regent Philippe d'Orléans, as well as a vignette on the title, 4 beautiful unsigned bands and 4 pretty culs-de-lampe by Cochin in the first printing. There is also the figure of the "petits pieds" attributed to the comte de Caylus and engraved for the first time in 1728, as well as 4 pretty culs-de-lampe by Cochin in the first edition.
