Collection of legal briefs: 10 volumes in-4, in fawn half-calf from the first third of the 19th century, spine decorated with faux raised bands and gilded motifs, gilded coats of arms on the covers; the binding of the last volume is slightly different. A remarkable and significant collection of a very large number of rare legal briefs, assembled by Aimé de la Fontenelle de Vaudoré (1748–1795), public prosecutor in La Rochelle in 1809 and judge at the Court of Poitiers in 1813. A fine copy. Sold as is, uncollated
