First edition illustrated with 19 original prints of photographs of female genitalia by Henri Maccheroni, signed by the artist, illustrating the poems of Pierre Bourgeade.
Printed in a run of 90 copies; this is one of 70 copies on BFK de Rives paper, signed by the author and the artist.
A painter, photographer and engraver, Henri Maccheroni (1932–2016) developed a distinctive body of work characterised by reflections on the body, Eros and Thanatos, and the Crucifixion.
