Two Oban-sized prints. The first, by an anonymous artist, depicts the kabuki actor Tamagaki Michimorihiko no Mikoto (posthumous name of Ichikawa Danjuro IX) twisting his body whilst unfurling a scroll. Publisher: Fukuda Hatsujiro. Dimensions: 32.5 × 22.5 cm. Yellowed paper, with stains. No visible margins. Framed. The second, by Utagawa Kuniyaki II (1835–1888), is a print depicting two thieves from the famous kabuki play: *The Story of Aoto and the Precious Brocade of Flowers*. Dimensions: 33.7 × 22.7 cm.
