FINISTÈRE (29) – “AUDIERNE”. 19th century. Original drawing (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on cream-coloured vellum paper. “Audierne” inscribed in the bottom left-hand corner in grey pencil. Provenance: From the collection of the Charpentier workshop, run by Pierre-Henri (1788–1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806–1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 22 x 28 cm. Condition A (in excellent condition).
