ISÈRE (38) – “Monastery of the GRANDE CHARTREUSE”. 19th century. Original drawing (probably by Félix Benoist) in graphite on vellum paper. Provenance: From the collection of the Charpentier workshop, run by Pierre-Henri (1788–1854) and his son Henri-Désiré (1806–1883), printers and publishers based in Paris, then in Nantes (from 1854). 32 x 24 cm. Condition A (tiny pinhole in the corners, a tiny tear in the upper left-hand corner, otherwise in good condition).
