DREVET – PORTRAIT of Maria Serre, mother of Hyacinthe Rigaud, aged 57. 1702. Etching and burin engraving by Pierre DREVET, after the painting by Hyacinthe RIGAUD (1659–1743). Ref.: Firmint-Didot, no. 110. I.F.F 18th century, no. 109. Print with letter, on laid paper. Bearing on the reverse the collection mark of ALBERT RICHARD (1908–1996), publisher and collector in Paris (Lugt 3083). A fine print. 45 x 34.8 cm. Condition A/B (trimmed to a square edge, traces of previous mounting and a few small areas of paper flaking on the reverse, which is slightly dusty; otherwise in good condition).
