EGYPTIAN BRONZE DAGGER WITH LUNAR-SHAPED POMMEL New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC.
A bronze dagger with a broad blade tapering to a sharp point. A low midrib runs through the blade, which broadens at the shoulders into a short collar with moulded bands. The hilt has a narrow faceted grip and a lunar-shaped pommel, its lower edge decorated with a band of punched ring and dot ornament.
