GREEK PERIOD SOLID SILVER SHALLOW BOWL WITH GRIFFON Ca. 500 BC. A solid silver shallow bowl with a slightly incurved rim and a central medallion enclosed by a twisted rope border. The medallion is decorated in relief with a striding winged griffon, its right foreleg raised, the wings extended above the body, and the tail curling upwards.
