HELLENISTIC AGATE CAMEO OF A RULER AS ZEUS AMMON IN GOLD RING. Ca. 300 - 100 BC. An agate cameo carved with the profile bust of a ruler depicted as Zeus Ammon, with a ram’s horn at the temple and a fillet tied at the back of the curly hair, set in a possibly later gold ring with a circular bezel and a tapering hoop with a central rib between shallow grooves.
